Meet Our Lead Pastor

Pastor Mathew Joseph

At Victory Walkers, we are led by Pastor Mathew Joseph, a passionate and dedicated spiritual leader. His vision for our church is to reach the unreached and create a welcoming environment where individuals can connect with God and each other.

Together with his wife Sis Rachel Matthews, he shepherds the congregation through the Word, prayer, and faithful fellowship — inviting you to be a part of our community and experience the transformative power of faith.

Women's Fellowship

Pastor Wife Rachel Matthews

Under the loving guidance of Pastor's wife Rachel and with support of other sisters from church, the Women's Fellowship began in the year 2010 with a heart to bring women together in prayer and faith.

This fellowship was started with a vision to strengthen women spiritually and encourage them in their walk with God. Through dedication and leadership, many women found a place of support, unity, and spiritual growth.

Initially, the fellowship gathered every 2nd Saturday of the month at different homes between 3–5 pm to study God's Word, pray, and uplift one another. Many sisters have been blessed by this gathering which encouraged and supported each other in prayer and fellowship.

A special mention of gratitude goes out to late Mrs Joice (Sis Julia's mother) and late Mrs Grace (wife of Pastor Prabhakaran, Chennai) who has been a mentor and guide to Rachel.

By God's grace, the fellowship has grown stronger and closer over the years. Many women have been encouraged to serve the Lord and use their gifts for His glory. The journey has not always been easy, but God has faithfully led and sustained this ministry.

Today we thank God for how far He has brought the Women's Fellowship. May the Lord continue to guide, bless, and use this fellowship to touch many more lives for His kingdom.

Co-Worker in Ministry

Mr. Kumar Kannan

Serving as a devoted ministry leader and co-worker alongside the pastor since the inception of VWI in 2004, Brother Kumar Kannan has walked faithfully with the Lord since the early 1980s. He began his journey as a youth leader and later served as an elder for more than two decades.

Coming from a non-Christian background, he experienced the life-changing saving grace of Jesus Christ. Through various trials and victories in both his family and professional life, Brother Kumar has remained steadfast in his commitment to the Kingdom of God. He and his wife, Sister Christina Bobbi, have been happily married for nearly 33 years, and they are blessed with two sons and two precious granddaughters.
